Computer Printers

Computer printers have greatly improved over the years, from early dot matrix and daisywheel designs (remember those?) to today's outstanding selection of inkjet and laser printers. Color computer printers have become ubiquitous, and can easily be had for under $100, with top of the line printers rarely costing more than $200.

Be sure to also consider what will be the primary use of your computer printer. For business use, and main text and other black and white prints, a laser printer makes a great choice - with quality laser printers now available for under $200. If you are planning to print photos or other graphics with your computer printer, an inkjet is likely the way to go. They are slower to print than laser printers, but are cheaper to operate and more flexible.

As always, when researching computer printers, be sure to check out a variety of options before you buy. Computer printers are not created equal, and even within the same price range, print quality can very greatly.
