Satellite TV

Satellite Television uses a small dish, approximately 18 - 24 inches in size to receive TV signals directly from a satellite. Satellite TV has become increasingly popular over the years, thanks to the various advantages it offers over traditional cable television.

Some of the advantages of Satellite TV include a greater selection of channels (often up to 500), a greater set of package choices (allowing you to better choose which channels you want to receive), and in some cases price. Satellite TV also offers the ability to generally receive a greater number of high definition channels, and is available in locations that cable TV is not.

Satellite TV does have a few downsides of course - it is generally harder to setup (although most satellite TV services like DirectTV offer professional installation free of charge or for just a small fee), and you will either need an antenna to receive local channels, or pay extra to receive them.
