Bedwetting
|
|
'); // --> Bedwetting (also known as sleep enuresis) is the loss of bladder control during sleep. This condition is normal for infants and small children but is considered abnormal for adults and children over the age of 3. Bedwetting can be caused by other medical conditions such as diabetes, urinary tract infections, epilepsy or sleep apnea. It can also be triggered by psychiatric disorders and trauma. Bedwetting is treatable either by treating the root medical condition that is the cause or through intervention. If the bedwetting is not caused by a medical condition, there are treatments that include behavior modification, alarm devices and even medicines in extreme cases. |
