Brain Tumor

Brain tumors are diseases in which cancer (malignant) cells begin to grow in the tissues of the brain. Brain tumors are found in both adults and children. Symptoms include frequent headaches, loss of appetite and change in personality. Brain tumors are defined by grades, which describe how quickly the tumor is spreading. Grade 1 tumors are considered the best candidates for removal via surgery. Treatment options for brain tumors include surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, hypothermia therapy and immunotherapy.
