Bamboo flooring is manufactured by splitting mature bamboo into strips that are bonded together using high pressure and temperature to create long flat planks measuring 3”- 6” across and typically 4’ long. The bamboo can be bonded to the planks in either a horizontal (outside edge face up) or vertical (side sliced edge up) pattern to create two distinct looks.
