Online College
An online college is an institution of higher learning that provides accredited classes in a wide range of study over the Internet. These online colleges are typically distance-learning programs provided by existing colleges and universities. The courses that you take online cover the same course material that is provide the regular classroom and you receive the same college credit for the completion of the course. The major difference is that you study the material and take your tests and exams remotely over the Internet. You correspond with your professor and classmates using email and some online colleges even have electronic libraries where you can browse and read reference material while doing your coursework. These online colleges have the ability to issue degrees and certificates just like regular colleges and many will allow you to transfer credits from junior college to count toward your online degree.
